Georgina McKinnon founder of KICH Hypnotherapy Training and principal tutor is also Chair of UKCHO.

UKCHO was set up in 1998 to help set standards for training and ethics for hypnotherapy, it is the work of UKCHO that is now at the heart of good training with recognised accreditation based on the core curriculum for National Occupational Standards and Skills for Health that UKCHO helped create.

UKCHO umbrellas 10 hypnotherapy organisations who together have thousands of practitioner members.

Recently Georgina spoke as Chair of UKCHO to a delegation including medical doctors and professors who are using hypnosis as part of the care of patients, she was speaking at the Royal Society of Medicine at the launch of an initiative UKCHO have been working on to provide guidance for those wishing to carry out academic research into to efficacy of hypnotherapy so it can become part of an NHS integrated care package for the public.
